This sterling silver piece is simply stunning. The family's hallmark is clear to see on the back of the bracelet. In the larger wealthier households , it was a well known fact that It was a sign of wealth to initial your silverware. Dating back to 1793, this sugar nip bracelet was originally hallmarked at the London Assay Office and weighs 27.2g. As with all my pieces that have the original hallmark, it comes with a 'Change of Use' certificate from the Sheffield Assay Office, as this is a legal requirement.
